Rangers’ streak of games with a

homer to all eight in the postseason.

Andrus keeps it alive: With a ninth-inning double after four

consecutive ground outs, Elvis Andrus extended his postseason

hitting streak to all eight games.

Lee’s pitch total: After throwing 120 pitches, his high for the

season, in Game 5 of the AL Division Series, Lee topped it with 122

pitches Monday.

FAIR OR FOUL

Fair

Fall beauty: Sure it’s pretty in New York and New England this

time of year, but how can anything be a prettier sight in October

than Cliff Lee on a pitcher’s mound?

Fair

Early exits: When Mitch Moreland singled home two runs in the

ninth inning, the crowd of 49,840 started streaming for the exits.

It looked more like September in Pittsburgh than October in New

York.

Fair

Tunes: No stadium in America does the “The Star-Spangled Banner”

or “God Bless America” better than Yankee Stadium. Both were moving

once again. Kristen Chenoweth did honors on the former and Haley

Swindal on the latter.
