Prince William revealed he has mastered the art of styling daughter Charlotte’s hair.
During a visit to Blackpool with the Duchess of Cambridge yesterday, the second-in-line to the throne told a local father that he was able to tie his three-year-old daughter’s hair up in a ponytail but admitted it had been a ‘nightmare’ to learn.
Speaking to the father, William said: ‘Never try to do a ponytail. Nightmare,’ adding: ‘I can do a ponytail, but that’s about it as I don’t have enough hair to practise on.’

The couple, who also have sons George, five, and Louis, 10 months, were speaking to a member of the group Dads 4 Life, who told them he had learned how to style his own little girl’s hair by watching YouTube tutorials, People reported.
Kate asked the father: ‘Have you tried to do a plait? It’s the weaving, really hard.’
Princess Charlotte, three, has worn her hair in a sweet half-up ponytail style on a number of occasions, including when she first went to visit her newborn brother Prince Louis in hospital last year.
In the photo shared on the front of the Cambridges’ Christmas card, it appeared as though Charlotte’s hair had grown long enough to be tied in a full ponytail.

The little princess has also been seen wearing adorable headbands and hair clips when joining her parents on public outings.
Although William is proud of his hair styling skills, just last week Kate, 37, showed off her own talents when she visited Cinemagic, a charity in Northern Ireland that uses film to help young people.
During a make-up class, with primary school children, Kate helped braid a performers hair with two little helpers.
