Doctors and teachers would be the first people in Russia to take part in a mass COVID-19 vaccination campaign set to start in October, the country's health minister has said. Mikhail Murashko has said that clinical trials had been completed at the state research facility in Moscow, the Gamaleya Institute, and that the vaccine was now being registered. "The vaccine against coronavirus infection, developed by the Gamaleya center, has completed clinical studies, and a package of documents is being prepared for the registration procedure," Murashko said according to the state news agency Tass. "Once it is authorized, vaccines will start to be used in special groups, first of all on doctors and teachers," he told journalists in Nizhny Novgorod, adding, "we plan wider vaccinations for October," without elaborating further on the vaccine or the vaccination program. Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts to make history as first-ever Black starting quarterbacks to face off in Super Bowl
When Super Bowl LVII kicks off in Arizona on February 12, the Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes and Philadelphia Eagles' Jalen Hurts will make history. For the first time ever, two Black starting quarterbacks will play against each other in the championship. Mahomes will be making his third trip to the big game after a dramatic 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. He was the third Black quarterback to win a Super Bowl in 2020 when he led the Chiefs over the San Francisco 49ers. He lost against the Tampa Buccaneers a year later. If Mahomes wins against the Eagles, he will be the first Black quarterback with multiple Super Bowl wins. If the Eagles beat the Chiefs, Hurts would become the fourth Black quarterback to win a Super Bowl, joining Mahomes, Doug Williams and Russell Wilson. Exclusive Interview: Marjorie Taylor Greene Says She Hasn’t Changed, The Party Has | The Daily Wire
As Marjorie Taylor Greene traded whispers on the House floor with the most powerful man in the chamber earlier this month, the headlines turned apoplectic. The Georgia congresswoman’s close alliance with Kevin McCarthy was on full display during his chaotic fight to become House speaker, a fight he ultimately won, in part thanks to Greene vouching for his conservative credentials. Pundits immediately began gesticulating about the “normalization” of the so-called “ QAnon congresswoman ,” known by her fans and critics alike by just her initials, “MTG,” and her unapologetically America First brand. She has since distanced herself from her most controversial comments, but that has not stopped her critics from insisting she is dangerous. Now, Greene appears poised to be a … [Read more...] about Exclusive Interview: Marjorie Taylor Greene Says She Hasn’t Changed, The Party Has | The Daily Wire

‘The Last of Us 3’ future is up in the air, Naughty Dog says
HBO’s The Last of Us is riding on the wings of success; however, the video game series might not go ahead from 2018’s The Last of Us Part 2. During an interview with Buzzfeed , the game series creative director and HBO show creator Neil Druckmann gave an update on the third installment of the PlayStation game. The creator said, “We’re very privileged that our publisher is Sony,” Druckmann added. “They have supported us every step of the way to follow our passions — meaning that just because something is successful, people think there’s all this pressure and we have to make a sequel. That’s not the case. For us, Uncharted was insanely successful — Uncharted 4 was one of our best selling games — and we’re able to put our final brushstroke on that story and say that we’re done. We’re moving on. Likewise, with The Last of Us, it’s up to us whether we want to continue or not.” However, Druckmann revealed the team is working on ideas to expand the franchise. “Our process is … [Read more...] about ‘The Last of Us 3’ future is up in the air, Naughty Dog says
