Julie Bowen has taken the internet by storm after attending Harry Styles’ concert last weekend. The Modern Family star 52, who has admitted her love with the As It Was crooner, 28, in the past, attended his Love On Tour stop on Thursday in Inglewood, California. Julie grabbed fans’ attention as she posed with a homemade red and pink heart-shaped concert sign, adorned with string lights. One side of the sign read, "Harry I'm old," and she turned it around to show "but I know what I'm doing" on the other side. The Emmy Award winner shared the video from the concert with caption, "I'm here! HARRY!" However, Styles’ fans weren’t pleased with the actress’ move. Tammy Knickerbocker provided an update on her missing daughter Lindsey Knickerbocker at a recent media appearance. She said that Lindsey is alive but that she is unsure of her whereabouts and who she is with, according to Fox News. Tammy said, "She (Lindsey) has called me but really won't tell me where she is. Thank God with all the amazing help she is alive. Still worried about where she is and the guy that is with (her). Working on some plans hopefully to get her out." New York Governor Andrew Cuomo took a swipe at President Donald Trump and his immigration policies during his third inaugural address at Ellis Island, telling the crowd, "Never forget where you came from." "This is the harbor where Frederick Trump arrived from Germany, and whose grandson would become the president of the United States," Cuomo said in a speech on Tuesday, which officially kicked off his third and final term as governor. Child Coronavirus Cases Spiked 90 Percent, Likely Due to Two Key Reasons
Hundreds of thousands of children have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in the U.S. since the start of the pandemic, according to a report. Of those, almost 200,000 were reported in the four weeks following July 9, marking a 90 percent increase in child cases. A total of 380,174 child COVID-19 cases were reported between the start of the pandemic and August 6, making up 9.1 percent of all cases, or 501 per 100,000 children in the U.S., according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children's Hospital Association. The data came from 49 states, New York City, D.C., Puerto Rico, and Guam. Between July 9 and August 6, 179,990 new cases were reported. According to Johns Hopkins University , the U.S. is leading the world in COVID-19 cases and deaths. Of the global total of over 20.2 million, the U.S. has more than 5.1 million diagnoses, with cases surging across the country. Oklahoma backtracks on “unsustainable” plan to execute one inmate a month
Oklahoma's Court of Criminal Appeals on Tuesday granted a request by the state's new attorney general to slow down the pace of upcoming executions. Last year, John O'Connor, Oklahoma's former attorney general, asked the court to set 25 executions spaced about a month apart. The state's new attorney general, Gentner Drummond, filed a motion last week requesting at least 60 days between executions, arguing that carrying out an execution a month was not sustainable. "One aspect that has become clear over time is that the current pace of executions is unsustainable in the long run, as it is unduly burdening the [Department of Corrections] and its personnel," Drummond wrote in his motion. "This is especially true given the extensive and intensive nature of the training DOC personnel undergo to prepare for each execution."
